Elon Musk has dodged an interview in Paris on his voluntary presence at the request by French officials over questions related to his platform, X. The investigation involves suspicions over whether the artificial intelligence program known as Grok was utilized to produce non-consensual sexual deepfakes and algorithms were used to interfere in French elections. However, despite the raids on X offices that took place earlier in February and serious accusations regarding the risks to the wellbeing of children and data fraud issues from prosecutors, Musk termed the case as a political attack. There is also some diplomatic dispute as the US Justice Department reportedly denied assistance from France over the issue of misuse of the legal process.
